Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I grew up with multiple cats and made countless cat friends over the years. I’m originally from Istanbul — often called the cat capital of the world. There, you don’t just “own” cats, you learn to live alongside them. You learn patience, observation, respect for boundaries, and how to understand their moods without words. Because of that, I truly believe I can communicate well with cats and adapt to their individual personalities.

Our family cat Romeo (my brother from another mother) now lives with my family in Turkey. Since moving to Munich, I don’t have many cats around me anymore and over time I realized there’s honestly been a gap in my soul without them. I miss their presence, their calmness, their weird little habits, and the emotional balance they bring.

That’s why I decided to become a cat sitter: to find new cat friends and at the same time support pet parents by giving their cats reliable, loving care while they’re away.

I even once witnessed our family cat giving birth to her three golden babies (one of them is Romeo), which was an emotional and unforgettable experience and taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and sensitivity around animals.
