We’re a family of three living in Zollhafen Mainz, close to the Rhein. I work from home, so I’m around during the day and would love to welcome a friendly dog into our home for short periods of time.

We recently lost our beloved family dog, who had been with us for many years, and we’re really missing having a dog around. Our 7-year-old daughter absolutely loves dogs and is gentle, caring and respectful of animals. She would be very happy to have a dog to spend time with again.

We’d love to look after a dog who is comfortable around children and enjoys attention, playtime and cuddles. We have lots of opportunities for walks along the Rhein and in the surrounding area, as well as plenty of time at home for company and relaxation.

We’re happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, walks and any special instructions. We’re particularly interested in occasional dog sitting for short periods. The dog would sleep in our living room with access to the balcony with my supervision.

Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate cats as my husband is allergic.
