Hi! My name is Alice, I’m a 19-year-old Italian girl currently living in Berlin as an au pair. I have always loved animals, but at the moment, because of my current situation, I can’t have a pet of my own, and that’s exactly why working as a pet sitter means so much to me. Spending time with animals genuinely makes my days better, and I always put all my energy and care into making them feel comfortable, loved and safe

I grew up with a cat, so I’m experienced with daily care such as feeding, cleaning the litter box, giving attention and affection, brushing, playing and simply keeping them company so they never feel lonely or stressed while their owners are away. I know how important it is to respect their spaces and habits, especially with shy or more independent cats. Living with a cat for many years also taught me how to notice small changes in behavior or mood and how important calmness and patience are when taking care of them.

Back in Italy I worked several times as a dog sitter for family friends, neighbors and other pet owners, taking care of both energetic puppies and older dogs that needed more attention and calm routines. I helped with walks, feeding, playtime, washing, basic training and spending quality time with them during the day. I’m used to adapting to different personalities: very playful dogs, anxious dogs, shy dogs or pets that simply need more time to trust someone new. I always try my best to make animals feel respected, understood and relaxed around me.

I am calm, patient and responsible but also really energetic and playful and i really enjoy playing with animals, run with them and play with some puppies games. One thing that people often appreciate about me is that I truly treat every pet as if it were my own. I know how difficult it can be for owners to leave their animals with someone else, so I always try to create trust not only with the pets but also with their families. I carefully follow every instruction regarding routines, feeding schedules, walks, medications or special needs because I understand how important consistency is for an animal’s well-being. For me, their safety and happiness always come first. I love understanding their different personalities and building a connection with them. Animals usually feel comfortable with me very quickly because I always approach them with kindness and respect.

Since I work as an au pair, I am available every morning/ early afternoon and every evening from Monday to Saturday and all day on Sunday. I offer both regular and occasional services and I’m happy to come to your home for walks, visits or companionship.

For me this is not just a small job, but something I truly enjoy doing with all my heart. Taking care of animals makes me genuinely happy, and I always do my best to make every pet feel safe, loved and comfortable in my presence.
