Hi, I'm Mégane! 👋

I'm originally from France and have been living in Germany for the past 9 years. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and spending time with them is something that genuinely makes me happy.

After several years of using Pawshake myself as a pet owner, I thought it was time to switch sides and help other pet owners as a pet sitter. 😊

🐱 I currently have two cats, and over the years I've had four cats altogether. Two of them came from difficult backgrounds and were initially very fearful of people. With lots of patience, respect and consistency, they gradually learned to trust me. Seeing an animal gain confidence and feel safe is one of the most rewarding experiences for me.

🐶 I also have experience with dogs. I volunteered at a dog shelter, where I walked dogs, played with them and helped care for them. One of the dogs, Mimi, was terrified of people and would run away from everyone. After about two weeks of taking things at her own pace, she started trusting me, which was incredibly rewarding.

🐰 I also have some experience with bunnies.

My approach with animals is simple: I never force interactions. Every pet has its own personality, boundaries and rhythm, and I always try to adapt to what makes them feel comfortable. Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic or prefers quiet company, I'll make sure they receive the care, attention and patience they need.

As a pet sitter, I know it's not only about feeding or walking your pet—it's also about making sure they feel safe, loved and cared for while you're away. I'll happily send you regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind.

I'm fluent in English, French is my native language, and my German is improving every day, although it's not perfect yet.
