Hi, I'm Maxine, a dog lover through and through! I grew up with black Labradors, so wagging tails and a pair of hopeful eyes begging for treats at every meal are second nature to me.

My soul dog, Cosmo, lives with my parents, and I miss having a four-legged friend by my side. I joined Pawshake to help you out while also getting my daily dose of dog joy.

I did dog sitting throughout my university studies and regularly watch my neighbours dog. I'm very empathetic and can read a dog's body language well, so I can tell when a doggo is excited, anxious, or needs some space.

My schedule is very flexible, so I'm available for walks, dog sitting, and home visits at any time of day. I will make sure that your dog gets a walk of at least 30 minutes (if appropriate), whether it's to a dog park, in the city or a nearby forest. I can feed your pet and take care of any other necessary tasks - I will follow your instructions clearly and carefully.

If I board a dog in my home, I'd ensure at least four walks a day, with two longer walks in the late morning and late afternoon. Currently, I'm able to spend a lot of time at home, and my partner is also a big dog lover, so we can ensure that your pet will not be left alone.

Cats are welcome too, although I'm more familiar with dogs.
