Hi there! I'm Mina, and my journey into pet sitting started 8 years ago in Berlin, when friends asked me to stay at their apartment and watch their 2 cats while they went on vacation. I ended up becoming their regular cat sitter, and that's when I discovered how much I love being around cats, playing with them, snuggling, and just existing in their calm, curious presence. Since then, I've cared for another friend's 2 playful and cheeky British shorthairs (2 joyful weeks living in their home), and I regularly look after my twin sister's royal poodle, Luna (who is turning 2 this summer), whenever she travels or has an especially busy week. I've also dog sat in Hawaii for 10 days, taking care of 2 large, intelligent Afghan hounds, Kaya and Makani, while their owner was on a business trip.

Through these experiences, I have fostered a deep connection with a range of animals and personalities, and I've come to love the adventure that comes with getting to know each pet's own quirks and needs.

I currently have a demanding full-time job as a software engineer and an apartment that isn't set up for a pet long-term, so I'm not a pet owner myself right now. As an animal lover, I therefore would be excited to look after your pets occasionally and still experience the perks of spending time with pets.

What services do I offer?

While I have cared for cats and dogs so far, I am also open to taking care of any other types of pets. I have particular experience with cats and larger, high-energy breeds like Afghan hounds. An introduction to your pet's needs, their routines and dietary habits, would be helpful. 

I currently offer any type of service that involves taking care of your pets in your homes (whether it be dog-walking, short term care or house sitting) because my apartment is relatively small and generally not suitable for cats and dogs. But if you have a very small pet, like bunnies or hamsters, I am also open to offer taking care of them in my own home, though, just send me a message and we will figure it out. :) 

How long do my services last?

I am flexible here - whether you need someone for 30 mins or whether you need someone for an entire month, just reach out.

Availability:

Due to my full time job, I prefer weekends or evenings for services such as dog-walking or short-term care. Since I can work remotely, however, house sitting works at any day and time. Whatever the case may be, feel free to reach out and we will work it out from there. I speak German and English fluently.

Whatever your pet's routine looks like, I'll do my best to keep it as close to normal as possible, and I promise the love, attention, and responsible care that will help them feel safe and comfortable while you're away!
