For me, animals are simply part of happiness. A dog that's happy when I walk through the door, a cat that, after some initial skepticism, curls up purring on my lap: these moments are exactly why I love spending time with animals so much. To me, pets aren't a "task" but little personalities with their own habits, moods and favourite spots, and that's exactly how I treat them. When you travel, your darling gets not only food and fresh water from me, but above all time, attention and lots of affection.

My experience

For about four years, I've regularly looked after animals belonging to friends, neighbours and acquaintances. I've taken care of my neighbour's cat, walked all kinds of different dogs, and looked after many furry friends in their owners' homes while they were away. Most recently, I looked after a friend's cat for 11 days.

Through this experience, I know: every animal is different. Some dogs love long walks, others need a little time to build trust. Some cats come for cuddles right away, others prefer to watch me from a safe distance first. I take the time to get to know each animal, stick closely to its usual routine (feeding times, medication, playtime) and make sure it feels safe and secure even without you.

My services

– House sitting: I stay overnight at your home so your pet can remain in its familiar surroundings. On weekdays I go to work during the day and am back from 6:30 pm. Longer stays of more than a week are no problem.

– Home visits: Feeding, fresh water, litter box, playing and cuddling. The duration depends entirely on your pet's needs, whether a short visit or several hours, we'll simply agree on it together.

– Dog walks: From a short walk to a long outing, just the way your dog likes it. Weekdays from 6:30 pm; on weekends I'm flexible all day.

Which animals?

Dogs of all sizes, including puppies, as well as cats are very welcome. Care generally takes place at your home. In exceptional cases, I can also take cats in at my place for a short time.

Care at my place (cats only)

Sleeping place: Your cat gets a quiet retreat of its own with its bed or blanket from home, plus its litter box, food and water nearby. It can settle in at its own pace, and if it wants company, it's welcome to sleep near me.

Care times: On weekdays I feed your cat in the morning before I leave for work and again in the evening from 6:30 pm, sticking as closely as possible to its usual feeding times. Evenings and weekends are for play, brushing and cuddles, and on weekends I'm at home most of the time.

Safety: Your cat stays indoors at all times. Windows and the balcony door are only opened when I'm at home and can keep an eye on things, and cleaning products and plants that are toxic to cats are kept out of reach. I always have your vet's contact details and the nearest 24-hour emergency vet at hand.

I'm reliable, organised and communicative: you'll get daily photos and updates so you can enjoy your trip completely relaxed. I look after animals within a radius of about 5-7 km around Neuhausen.

Before every booking, I'm happy to offer a free meet-and-greet so that you and your darling can get to know me at your own pace. I look forward to your message!
