Hi there! My name is Luísa. I am an English-speaking psychology graduate student currently based here in Germany. Although my German is still a work in progress, I fluently speak the universal language of love, patience, and care for animals!

I grew up surrounded by pets and have years of personal experience caring for both dogs and cats. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets behind, and my priority is to give you peace of mind while you are away.

What a typical service looks like with me:

For Home Visits: My schedule is adaptable depending on what you request, but a standard visit lasts around 30 to 45 minutes on average. During this time, I focus on: refreshing their water, precise feeding according to your schedule, cleaning the litter box or taking them out for a bathroom break, and dedicated playtime or attention to keep them happy.

For Overnight Sitting / Extended Stays: I adapt to your pet’s daily habits and your specific instructions. I will stay at your home to make sure they feel safe in their own environment, spending quality time with them, managing their morning and evening routines, and keeping an eye on their well-being.

How I keep you informed & handle emergencies:

Constant Updates: I believe communication is key to your peace of mind. After every single visit or during an overnight stay, I will send you detailed updates along with plenty of photos and videos of your pet so you can see exactly how they are doing.

Emergency Preparedness: Your pet's safety comes first. Before you leave, we will go over your trusted veterinarian's contact details and the nearest 24/7 animal clinic info. In the rare event of an emergency, I will contact you immediately while ensuring your pet receives swift, professional medical care.

I am responsible when it comes to following strict dietary requirements or adjusting to senior pets who need a calmer, gentler approach.

I am currently available for summer bookings through the end of July. Because I am a student, I have a somewhat flexible schedule during this time and can easily adapt to your pet's daily routine. I am comfortable with pets of various sizes and ages, but unfortunately, I am not available to pet sit big dogs!
