Hi! I’m Samantha, I’m 31 and I’m originally from Porto Alegre, Brazil. I’ve always had dogs in my life. Growing up, we had Nina, Pufe and later Pituca, and they were all part of our family for many, many years.

For the last seven years, while living in São Paulo, I was also the official pet sitter for two very special dogs, Olivia, an Italian Greyhound, and Juju, a Greyhound. I was their godmother, so we were really close. Whenever their owners travelled, they would stay with me at my place, or I would stay at their place. Sometimes it was for a week or even longer.

I’ve also looked after quite a few other dogs over the years. Bella was an older mixed breed, Estella was a very energetic puppy who needed lots of walks and playtime, Dino was a 3 year old who absolutely loved to play, and Armenia was a very tiny puppy who needed someone to look after her for a few hours during the day. So I’m used to dogs with very different personalities, ages and energy levels.

I now live in Kreuzberg, very close to Bergmannstraße, and I have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m happy to do occasional walks, look after your dog during the day, or have them stay at my place for a day or longer. I can also come to your home if needed, although I’d prefer places reasonably close to where I live. I don’t have a car, so unfortunately I can’t offer transportation for pets.

I live in a comfortable two bedroom apartment with my flatmate, who also loves dogs. We’ve had her sister’s dog, Sally, stay with us a few times and she always loved having a dog around. Ideally, I’d have just one dog staying with me at a time, so they can get lots of attention, but depending on the size and personality of the dog, I can be flexible.

I genuinely love being around dogs. I’m happy going for walks, playing, giving them lots of cuddles, talking to them, or just having a lazy nap together. I’ll always do my best to keep their usual routine, including feeding times, walks, medication if needed and any little rules that are important to you.

My schedule is open and I’d be very happy to have your dog stay with me and take care of them as if they were my own. 🐾
