My name is Alia and I am from Germany. I enjoy my current studies in Health Psychology and like to spend my time outdoors exploring nature.

I have started to professionally Pet & House sit after a friend went “hey I think this could be perfect for you!” And I’m happy to say, they were right. :)

Besides growing up with all kinds of animals around me (Cats, Dogs, Horses, Bunnies & Hamsters),I have always felt the happiest and most calm when I am around animals. I love how each time you get to meet another soul and character.

I have started doing sits on Trusted House Sitters to gain experience and now moved on to doing it professionally.

With me you are getting a kind and warm hearted sitter who will treat your home and your furry family like their own.

I approach animals with a calm and open energy which allows them to adapt in their own time and comfortability, offering a safe space while ensuring their routines are kept and lots of cuddles are offered while you enjoy your time away.

Included for a House & Pet sit (overnight stay) is:

• Day & overnight care for the animal

• Keeping of feeding routines and schedules

• Keeping of walking routines and schedules

• Applying medication or vitamins reliably as instructed (to be discussed and rated before a sit confirmation) (any medical issues or signals to look out for have to be communicated beforehand to ensure the safety and health of your pet)

• Providing you with regular photo and text updates regarding your pets mood, appetite and health (upon your convenience)

• Basic grooming (brushing)

• Maintaining of litter box or scoop the poop for Dogs

• Keeping your home as you left it and maintaining it to be tidy and secure (please note that my service does not include cleaning of your home unless separately discussed and rated. I expect to find a home in a reasonably clean state as you would like to find it upon return).

• For sits longer than 7+ Days a basic vacuum/sweep & surface clean is included.

• Upon leaving I will have stripped the bed occupied by me and removed all my personal belongings.

• Simple walks will last for about 30 minutes around your neighbourhood or parks, if accessible. I'm happy to take your pet to their Favorite spot if they have one.

• Simple home visits will include Feeding and checking the overall mood and state of your pet, playtime and an update to you (upon your convenience) with a duration of 1-1.5 hours.

I ask of you to provide me with a written note on vet and emergency contacts, security details if you have a security system and if medication is required - details regarding time, amount and how to apply it as well as any other important information regarding your home and pet.

Please note that I will not carry any costs that might come up during a sit (vet costs, extra food or litter, etc. I expect that your storage is equipped with enough for the whole duration of the sit).

I am looking forward to caring for all kinds of pets but I need to exclude extra large herding dogs, especially with wolf-dog mix heritage from my zone of comfortability. These kind of dogs often need a certain kind of handling and strong physical presence which I am simply not built for anatomically.

The safety of your pet and myself are the highest priority and I take it very seriously.

In case of any emergency you will be contacted promptly and further steps will be discussed together.

All responsibilities have to be clearly laid out and agreed upon by both sides before a sit confirmation. A breaking of this rule could lead to a cancellation of the sit.

A home and pet will not be left alone longer than 6 hours. Please inform me if there are any restrictions to letting your pet alone, I am happy to adjust if possible.
