Ever since I was young, animals have always been part of my life. I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats who were not only pets, but true companions and family members. Moving away from my home country and leaving my puppy Luna behind made me realize even more how deep and meaningful the bond with animals is. This experience motivated me to reconnect with that part of myself through pet sitting.

In addition to caring for my own pets throughout my life, I also helped friends with pet care whenever they needed support, which gave me experience with different personalities and routines. Professionally, I also had the responsibility caring for clients’ puppies while working at a fitness boutique in Lisbon, where we looked after pets during their owners’ workouts. With all these experiences, I learned that every single one of them has a different personality, rhythm, and way of expressing emotions, which taught me the importance of patience, observation, and adapting my care to each pet’s individual needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and understood.
