Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up surrounded by pets — there was always either a dog or a cat in our home. Over the years, I also had rats, a degu and hamsters, so I have experience with different animals, personalities and needs.

I originally started fostering animals because I wanted to help homeless dogs. I welcomed them into my home, cared for them, helped them feel safe and looked for responsible new owners for them. This is actually how Chanel and Ayran came into my life. They were originally supposed to stay with me temporarily, but eventually they became part of my family.

After this experience, I realized that I could also help animals who already have loving owners but need someone reliable to care for them while their owners are working, travelling or simply unavailable.

I am responsible, attentive and patient. I understand that every pet has its own personality, routine and boundaries, and I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully.

For dogs staying with me, I can provide 3–5 walks per day, depending on their usual routine, age, health and energy level. Walks normally last between 20 and 60 minutes and can be adapted to the individual dog’s needs.

I live in a spacious apartment in a quiet neighbourhood, which provides a calm environment for pets. My partner and I can coordinate our schedules, so pets staying with us do not need to spend long periods alone. Normally, a pet would not be left alone for more than a few hours, and this can be discussed individually with the owner.

I can provide feeding according to the owner’s instructions, fresh water, walks, playtime, attention and plenty of rest. I also have experience giving oral medication and can follow the owner’s instructions regarding medication schedules and dosage.

I understand that not every animal immediately feels comfortable in a new environment. I am comfortable caring for shy, anxious or cautious pets and give them the time and space they need to adjust. I never force interaction. If a pet has specific behavioural needs, I would like to discuss them with the owner beforehand so that I can make sure I can provide appropriate and safe care.

For me, pet sitting is not simply about feeding and walking an animal. My priority is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable and cared for while you are away. 🐾
