Hi! I’m Suhani, a dedicated and experienced pet caregiver based in Berlin. I recently moved to Berlin to pursue my Master’s degree and am looking to provide loving, reliable care for your pets on a part-time basis. I am available for dog walking, daily feeding/drop-in visits, overnight house-sitting, and all-day care at your home. (Please note: My landlord does not allow pets in my apartment, so I cannot host pets at my place, but I am very happy to care for them in their comfortable, familiar home environment! I also rely on public transit and walking, as I do not own a vehicle, but I am very comfortable navigating Berlin's transit network.) Why Choose Me? Lifetime Experience with Dogs: Back home in India, I live with four dogs: two Golden Retrievers (aged 11 and 8), a rescued German Shepherd (6), and a rescued Keeshond (6). I also grew up alongside a beloved Labrador for nearly 14 years. I am deeply familiar with dog behavior, routines, and multi-dog household dynamics. Specialized Rescue & Senior Care: Half of my own dogs are rescues, including seniors. I understand the patience, gentle approach, and individualized attention required for anxious, rescued, or older pets. Campus Animal Welfare & Medical First Aid: During my Bachelor’s degree, I served on the medical team for our campus animal welfare organization. My responsibilities included: Administering vet-prescribed oral, topical, and skincare medications. Providing basic first aid for campus dogs and cats. Transporting animals to and handling them during veterinary appointments. Managing scheduled feeding, grooming, baths, and health monitoring routines. Hands-On Pet Sitting & Grooming: Experienced with both dogs and cats—providing active play, brushing, soothing baths, plenty of affection, and dedicated companionship. Logistics & Service Details Walk & Visit Durations: Standard walks and drop-in visits are typically 30 to 60 minutes long (tailored to your pet’s age and energy level). Availability: Flexible part-time availability on weekdays and weekends around my university timetable. Supervision & Time Away Limits: During overnight house-sitting or all-day care, your pet will never be left unattended for more than 2 to 4 hours at a time. Home & Pet Security During House Sitting: I strictly follow all house rules, secure all doors/windows, keep keys safe, maintain a tidy space, and provide regular photo and text updates so you always have complete peace of mind while away. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk around the neighborhood, diligent medical oversight, routine grooming, or cozy overnight companionship, I treat every animal with the same patience and high standard of care I give my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member!
