About Me 

Hi there! I'm Yana, a 24 y-old artist and musician from Bulgaria, living in Berlin for the past 5 years. I’m a lifelong animal lover who has grown up surrounded by dogs and cats. Having pets has been a constant part of my life since childhood, so I am completely comfortable and experienced in their presence. I understand that every animal has a unique personality and I deeply respect their boundaries and need for space, while also knowing exactly when they need affection and playtime.

My Experience & Approach 

I have pet-sat for friends and family multiple times, handling everything from daily walks and feeding to administering medication and following specific dietary instructions. I am highly responsible and attentive to detail, ensuring your pet’s routine stays exactly as you left it. Whether your pet needs special treatment, strict meal timing, or just a calm companion, I treat them with the same love and care I would my own.

Availability & Services

• Schedule: As a freelancer, my schedule is flexible. I could be available on both weekdays and weekends, pending prior coordination regarding specific dates.
• Walk Duration: Minimum 30 minutes; extendable based on weather conditions and your pet’s needs.
• Preferred Areas: Quiet, safe environments like parks, gardens, or backyards away from busy traffic are preferred, however I'm still comfortable navigating street environments.
• Visit Duration: Typically 1/1:30 hours, covering feeding, walking, medication, and companionship. Exact length adaptable to your needs.
• Medication Capabilities: I can safely administer oral medication (hidden in food/pills), topical treatments (skin/fur), and eye/ear drops. I cannot administer injections.

Important Note on Hosting 

While I would love to host your pet, I currently live with an elderly cat who is not used to sharing her space with other animals. To ensure her peace and comfort, I am unable to host guests at my home. However, I am fully available for drop-in visits at your home or dog walking services! This might also be more comfortable for your pet to stay in their familiar, stress-free environment while receiving dedicated, one-on-one attention from me.
