Hi, I’m Erika, 26 years old, and I live in 12051 Berlin-Neukölln.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them brings me so much joy. Since I’m currently not able to have pets of my own, I love spending time with other people’s furry family members and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away.

I grew up surrounded by cats, and thanks to my family, I have lifelong experience caring for them. My father breeds Siamese cats, so I’m familiar with cats of all ages, from kittens to senior cats, as well as their different personalities and individual needs. I’m also experienced in administering medication, including oral medication, eye drops, and insulin injections.

During my studies, I regularly travelled while house and pet sitting through TrustedHousesitters and by caring for friends’ pets. Over the years, I’ve looked after many different cats and dogs, each with their own routines, personalities, and care requirements. I also have professional experience as both a cat sitter and dog sitter.

In addition to my experience with cats, I’m confident caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and energy levels. I always adapt my care to each dog’s individual routine and personality. To ensure every dog receives my full attention, I only care for one dog at a time (unless they come from the same household). Walks are tailored to your dog’s needs and typically last between 30 and 60 minutes. I usually provide three to four walks per day, plus additional potty breaks whenever needed. While I don’t offer professional training or grooming, I’m happy to reinforce your dog’s existing routines and commands.

I also volunteer with the cat rescue association Samtpfoten e.V. in Neukölln, where I continue learning about cat welfare and caring for cats with different backgrounds and needs.

I work part-time (20 hours per week) as a Social Media Manager, mostly from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule. This allows me to spend most of the day with the pets in my care, providing them with plenty of attention, companionship, playtime, and supervision. Pets are rarely left alone, and if I do need to step out, it’s only for a short period.

I live alone in a quiet and cozy 35 m² apartment in Berlin Neukölln. There are no other pets or roommates, creating a calm environment where your pet can relax. Pets are welcome to sleep wherever they feel most comfortable, whether that’s in their own bed, a crate, or on the sofa if that’s what they’re used to at home. My building also has a fully enclosed and secure courtyard where dogs can safely enjoy fresh air under supervision.

I understand that every pet is unique, and I always take the time to get to know their personality, routine, and preferences. My goal is to make them feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible, so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re in loving, reliable hands.
