Hello, I’m Mina, a lifelong cat lover living in Berlin. ❤️ Cats have been part of my life for more than a decade, and caring for them is something I do with all my heart.

I have raised two cats for many years. One has been with me since she was just two months old and is now in her teens. The other was abandoned and came to live with me at around two years old. She is now almost 14. Looking after them through all stages of life has given me extensive hands-on experience with everyday cat care, including the needs of senior cats.

Over the years, my cats have experienced different health issues, including skin injuries and digestive problems. These experiences have taught me to be observant, patient and attentive to even small changes in a cat’s condition.

I’m confident with everyday cat care, including:

• Feeding according to each cat’s usual routine and preferences
• Refreshing drinking water and keeping food and water bowls clean
• Cleaning litter trays and monitoring changes in urine, stool and toileting habits
• Gently cleaning around the eyes and ears when needed
• Regular brushing and helping cats stay comfortable and well-groomed
• Giving oral medication, including tablets and liquid medicines, when instructed by the owner
• Spending time playing with cats, offering companionship and respecting their individual personalities
• Watching for changes in appetite, energy, movement, behaviour or other signs that may suggest a cat is unwell
• Keeping the home environment clean and comfortable for the cat
• Sending regular photos and updates so owners know how their cats are doing

I pay close attention to the little things. I observe my own cats’ expressions, behaviour, appetite, drinking habits and litter-box use every day. Cats cannot tell us in words when something is wrong, so I believe it is our responsibility to notice changes and take their well-being seriously. If I notice anything unusual during a visit, I will let you know promptly and follow your instructions on what to do next.

My love for cats extends beyond my own home. Since I lived in China, stray cats in my neighbourhood would often come to find me. When I found cats that were sick or injured, I helped take them to the vet, supported their recovery and looked for loving homes for them whenever possible. People sometimes joke that I have a “cat magnet” personality because cats often seem to feel comfortable around me!

To me, cats are not just pets — they are family. I understand how important it is to leave your beloved companion with someone you can trust. During home visits, I will care for your cat with patience, gentleness and attention to their individual needs, while keeping their familiar routine as consistent as possible.

My hope is that while you are away, your cat will feel safe, comfortable and cared for in their own home — and that you can enjoy your time away knowing that your furry family member is in caring hands.
