Hi! I’m Burcu, a 29-year-old PhD researcher from Turkey, currently living in Berlin 🙌🏻

About a month ago I moved to Berlin and had to leave my two beloved cats in Istanbul with my mother while I settle into my new life. One of them, Molly, is 5 years old and the other, Lolly, is just 1, and I miss them every single day!! 🥲🥲 Caring for other people’s pets is a wonderful way for me to stay connected to animals while giving them the same love and attention I would give my own ♥️

I’ve been caring for cats for years and I’m confident with everything from feeding and fresh water to cleaning litter boxes, administering basic medication if needed, and understanding their different personalities and needs. I’m also comfortable spending time with shy or anxious cats and making sure they feel safe while their owners are away.

Back in Istanbul I often volunteered as a temporary foster home for rescued cats and dogs waiting for adoption. Whenever I came across stray animals, I always stopped to give them some affection, and I usually carried cat food with me just in case I met a hungry friend along the way 🍼🍼🐈

Although cats are my biggest area of experience, I genuinely love dogs too and would be happy to spend time with them, take them for walks, play with them, and make sure they receive plenty of attention and care 🦮🐕‍🦺🎾

Because my PhD research allows me to work with a flexible schedule, I’m available for visits throughout the day and can often accommodate different times, including evenings and weekends. During home visits, I’m happy to feed your pet, refresh water, clean litter boxes, play, cuddle (if they enjoy it!), send photo and video updates, and make sure everything is clean and secure before I leave

I understand how difficult it can be to leave a beloved pet at home 😮‍💨 My goal is to make both you and your pet feel relaxed and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll care for your furry family member as if they were my own 🫂❤️‍🩹🫠
