Hi! I’m Sara, 24, originally from the Czech Republic and currently living in Velp while studying Animal Sciences – Horses at Van Hall Larenstein.

I grew up with cats and a dog, and I have also leased a horse for many years. I currently take care of a horse near Arnhem, so animals have always been an important part of my life. I also have experience looking after my friends’ dogs and horses for several days at a time, including taking care of their daily routines while their owners are away.

I truly believe every animal deserves patient, loving and responsible care. When looking after your pet, I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for. I will follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, grooming, and giving them plenty of attention and company. I understand that every animal has its own personality and needs, so I will take the time to get to know your pet and make sure they are happy and relaxed.

For cats, I’m happy to visit your home to feed them, spend some time with them, and make sure they have everything they need while you’re away. Depending on your kitties personality, I can give her attention, cuddle time and play with them, or if your cat is more of a quiet observer, I can do my schoolwork while spending time in her space:)🐈

For dogs, I can offer longer 1–2 hour walks in the Veluwe, as well as shorter 30-minute walks around the owner’s neighbourhood. I’m happy to adapt to each dog’s needs and routine in consultation with the owner. If your dog is comfortable and brave enough, they can also join me when I go to the stables, which can be a nice change of scenery and an opportunity for some extra adventure. 🐴🐕

I’m also happy to host small or medium-sized dogs at my home for a few nights. As I live in a student room, unfortunately the space isn’t suitable for larger dogs, even though I would love to host them. I’m a student, so a dog may be left alone for a few hours while I’m at school, but I would never leave a dog alone for the entire day. My home also has stairs, so it may not be suitable for senior dogs who have difficulty with stairs, especially if they are uncomfortable being carried.

I have a car, so I’m flexible and happy to travel. I would love to give your pets the care, attention and company they deserve while you’re away. 💛
