I've been the mother of 2 beautiful Maine Coons for 7 years now and enjoy caring for them and meeting their needs. Before that, I grew up in a house with cats and, for a short time, a dog. I recently looked after my friend's cats for about 3 weeks in her home. It was a wonderful time and towards the end, the extremely shy cat was cuddling me near my chest. My friend was surprised and said that it was rare that I was getting so much affection so quickly. she now booked me for another few cat sits. I have also dog sat a friend's little terrier. It was a lot of fun even though I am not so used to dogs, and it's made me want to get to know more of them. I'm currently working a very flexible job. I am happy for boarding anytime but I can also stop by once or twice a day before and after work to feed and play with them, and pet then if they let me haha. I will add great company the your pets don't feel left alone. I always consider pets safety first, no windows open in. your absence etc. Unfortunately, I wont be able to sit cats in my now flat.
