🐶 Hi! I’m María José from Chile 🇨🇱

I’m a molecular biotechnology engineer currently living in Belgium 🇧🇪, where I’m enjoying discovering the culture, daily life, and meeting new people.

🐾 My experience with dogs

I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have solid experience caring for them. In Chile, I volunteered as a foster home for dogs, helping them during their adaptation period until they were ready to find a permanent family ❤️

This experience taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand different dog behaviors and emotional needs.

🌊⛰️ An active and fun routine

Every week, we used to go on full-day walks with our dog—exploring the mountains and the seaside.

Sometimes we also go for a run together 🐕… but let’s be honest, that’s for max one hour 😅

🧠🐕 Experience with behavioral support

I also volunteered supporting a foster dog through behavioral therapy with an ethologist, helping him overcome past trauma and adjust more calmly and safely to new environments.

This gave me experience working with dogs that need extra care, structure, and emotional support.

❤️ What I offer

I truly enjoy spending time with dogs, going for walks, playing, and making sure they feel safe, calm, and happy.

I am reliable, attentive, and I genuinely care about animal wellbeing. I would love the opportunity to take care of your dog with responsibility and affection
