Hiii dear pet Eltern!

My name is Maria Eduarda, I'm 23 years old and came to Germany to be an aupair in July :)

As my contract is coming to an end I'm applying for jobs here as a personal trainer and some extra jobs to make some extra money as a pet sitter and as a baby sitter!

I have pets ever since I was 6 years old. My mom was raised surrounded by animals so she wanted us to have a similar experience as hers since she believes that animals can awake our affection side. First we had a bird, then hamsters, fishes and then dogs. My brother and I we had some major allergies problems with the first pets so we had to donate them (except for the fishes) until we discovered we weren't allergic to dogs! I have dogs ever since I was 10 years old. We adopted a poodle who was 6 years old at the time and stayed with us for another 6 years. After he passed away we adopted a yorkshire who is still with us ❤ she was 5 when we got her and now she's 11.

It was with my yorkshire that I learnt the real work of having a pet since I was very young when we had our poodle. I believe it is *almost* as having a child. There must be a lot of thinking to go into having a pet. You can't decide overnight "oh, I wanna have a pet", you need to look at your life overall, think about the consequences because it is a big responsibility.

Now that I'm away from my dog, I really miss being around a pet! They are filled with pure love and I don't think there's a better company than them :)

So my schedule now looks like this: I take german classes everyday during the mornings from 8:45 until 12h, but my school is very flexible with my hours, and during the afternoon I'm free from 3pm until 19h :) my roomate also likes dogs, she has one herself and she will be more than happy to be around another one! Big or small, I like pets in every size ❤

I would take your little 4 paws daughter/son for walks, play with them at a garden that there's near my house, if you want to! If you're out of town and need someone to go look after your dog during the time you're out, water the plants, I'm more than happy to stop by at your place and help you! I would give water, food, take them for a walk... it is a 5 stars hotel service with me hahah.
