Hello dog parents!My name is Corina and I am 36 years old. I am a full-time dog walker and sitter. I would love to be the one to brighten your dog's day by taking him for a walk while you are at work, or caring for her and having a blast while you are on vacation. About me: I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and even before my parents got me my first dog when I was a child I pretended to take care of a stuffed dog by walking him on a leash and giving him food and water. I have had both large (Labrador) and small (2 dachshunds) dogs and at the moment I have a mini dachshund (neutered) who gets along very well with other dogs). I like to joke that I am a dog whisperer because I can get shy or nervous dogs to let me take care of them, such as my friend's Schnauzer or my parents' extremely nervous Lab mix (see pictures). Drop-in Visits: This is a visit lasting up to an hour during any period of owner absence in order to feed, walk, or provide company for your pet. Dog Walking: I can come to you and pick them up for a walk, with or without Max (my dachshund), depending on whether or not they would like company, as he is able to stay at home with my husband if not. I am able to travel anywhere in Berlin that is reachable on public transport, and I have tons of availability during the day (this is my only job :) The rate includes an hour long walk unless otherwise specified by the owner. If agreed upon, dogs will be taken to local dog runs for exercise. Dog Sitting: Often dogs are not able to stay alone in their homes for long periods of time for whatever reasons. In this case I can book a visit lasting several hours, to be agreed upon with the owner depending on the needs of your dog. The purpose of these visits is to reduce separation anxiety while you are out. Your neighbors will thank you! In most cases it is important that I meet the dog in advance to make sure they are comfortable with me in their home. The rate includes bathroom breaks, feeding, playing, and generally keeping your dog happy. I am also available for overnight care in your home when you are away. I understand that leaving your pet overnight requires a great deal of trust and can be incredibly stressful. I have personally cancelled trips due to the lack of suitable dog care, so I will make myself constantly available via text, WhatsApp, FaceTime, and any other channel you would like so that you can get in touch verbally and visually with me and your pet at any time, in addition to sending daily updates. I understand that many dogs cannot be left alone even for short periods of time when their owners are away, so I will be fully committed to staying in the home while sitting. And don't worry, Max (my little sausage dog) can stay home with my husband while I am with your pet. For multiple pets or puppies, additional charges apply. The per night rate includes the following:At least 2 hours of physical exercise per day(can be broken down as indoor/outdoor play, multiple walks or one long walk as per agreement with owners); pick up all dog poop during the stayDog will not be tied up or crated unless requested by the owner (for example house training puppies)Small pets - Tidy cages and do a full clean if the booking is more than 4 daysHousekeeping - collect mail, water plants, put out the bins on garbage dayHouse/apartment locked up and secure after the bookingEmpty out rubbish, dirty dishes washed and put away, appliances in working order, bathroom and floors clean - to the same condition it was when sitter arrivedSitter will be the only person at the house at all times unless otherwise agreed with the ownerAny keys must be returned at the end of the booking as instructed by the ownerDog not to be left alone for longer than 3 hours.
