And to new people: Hi there!!! My name is Berta, I'm 23 years old, I come from Spain, and I work at an environmental education NGO.

Since moving to Berlin two years ago, I realized that I am desperately in need of some of more animals in my life. Since then I have been lucky enough to do more than 30 house- and pet-sits with cats and dogs along different platforms (mainly Pawshake), which I absolutely love and has helped me learn a lot about how to adapt to different pets with their unique personalities and needs :)

I consider myself to be a responsible, caring, and patient person who more than anything understands that pets are not possessions nor display items, but instead living beings in themselves who deserve to be treated with respect and care. With pets, I love to do a great variety of activities: from taking long and relaxed walks around parks, forests, or just around the block (if the pet prefers that, hihi), to cuddling, to playing and running around. But of course, I understand if it is just the first one - my dog who I had for 14 years was a very calm dog who enjoyed the slowness of life - and I love to adapt to that as well.
