Annie

Hi, my name is Annie, I am 26 years old and animals, especially dogs are part of my daily life since 2013 year.

I come from Georgia, there are a lot of stray animals in the street, which is very heartbreaking to see for the people who love them, so that's how ended up having five different size and mix dogs at home.

My first dog is 10 years old Labrador Retriever, others are saved ones from the street. I walk them twice a day, feed them, take vet care and do everything that I am supposed to do to make their lives happy and healthy.

I will tell a little story of how it all started. I started volunteering in D.O.G shelter, which is a non-profit dog rescue organization in Tbilisi, where I was assisting homeless  animals with many different duties. Seeing those innocent animals being oppressed and abandoned by their owners I felt that I needed to change their harsh reality and fix what other humans have caused.

So, I started rescuing homeless animals from the street and providing them with all types of help that was necessary for their survival. I found owners for the three-legged Tsutsa and her children, for Lulu who had a car accident and the driver did not take any care for her, I found good owners for many puppies and their moms, I guess they were about 20 or 25 in total throughout the years.

I believe that all the dogs deserve only the best because they have the purest hearts and souls. Quite often they are much better friends for us than most of the humans. I enjoy and love their company, I can easily understand if they need anything or if they don't feel well, because of my long practice and my deepest love to them. I understand how big is the responsibility to take care of other people's animals so I will do my best, listen to the owners needs and preferences and I will put my whole energy and love to doing this job.
