We (Lucy & Emily) recently moved to Berlin from New Zealand and have spent the past three months doing long-term petsits. During this time, we looked after three very different cats, all gorgeous in their own way and we absolutely fell in love with them all! We also have experience petsitting in London, Athens and back home in New Zealand.

Now that we are more settled here, we have decided to set up a pawshake account so that we can continue to have the joy of animals in our life. In addition to cats, we would love to look after dogs and have many years experience with a range of dogs as both petsitters and caregivers.

We are open to home visits, dogwalking and overnight stays. We are currently available until around 3pm Monday to Friday plus weekends and are flexible regarding length of visits and dog walks. If possible, we would prefer ongoing arrangements so that we can build a relationship with your pet. We are also happy to help out with grooming, training and administering medication.

"Emily and Lucy took care of Charlene during the 2 months I was sent to work in Saudi Arabia. They not only took care of Charlene and the flat but also helped me to put together the required paperwork to allow her to travel with me at my return. Bringing a pet to another country is not an easy task and one must make sure the pet is healthy, has the required vaccine and parasite treatment not to mention the bloodwork. I had to coordinate with them the vet visit and treatment all per video. They have handled with nerves and tack the bloodwork which wasn’t painful but very unpleasant for Charlene who literally cried her life. Nevertheless I found Charlene at my return totally relaxed - a bit pissed against me but it didn’t last long 😅. More important, she was healthy, playful and vocal as usual and the flat was spotless!
