My name is Elizabeta. I am of Canadian/Croatian nationality, and for the last several years a scientist at Geomar in Kiel. As a marine biologist, I travel a lot, so I am not able to have pets of my own. However, I have a great passion and love for all animals and I would love to give that love to any pet that I can spend time with.

Dogs, and animals in general, make me happy...and I have a natural way to make them happy, too. I always get along with pets around. I guess they just feel comfortable and secured with me, as they feel my love and passion! I used to have a dog for 14 years. Cats, rabbits, Guinea pigs and hamsters were also constantly part of my childhood, and I am pretty experienced when it comes to taking care of any of them.

I live with my husband, who is also a pet lover! Our cozy apartment is available for hosting pets overnight or for day watching. We live in Elmschenhagen, in a nice area for a dog walking and playing. In front of our apartment is a dog walking area (Hundeauslauffläche/Hundewiese Elmschenhagen). Dogs are also very welcome at Geomar where I work as a senior scientist, so I am able to take care of them during my work hours too. My office is very big, carpeted and close to Schwentine mouth on the east shore in Kiel. Therefore, the dog/s will be all the time accompanied by me. Now, at the end of my introduction, I would also like to say that I don't have any particular dog training experience or skills.
