Hello! My name is Maty, I’m 23 years old and I’m from Italy 🇮🇹

I am a caring, responsible, and reliable au pair with a genuine love for animals. I’m offering pet care services alongside my au pair experience, with a strong focus on safety, routine, and the individual needs of each pet.

I have previous experience as a pet sitter in Italy, taking care of dogs, cats, and small animals. With dogs, I handle daily walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I adapt walks to each dog’s personality and energy level: longer, active walks for energetic dogs, and calmer, shorter walks for older or more anxious ones. I always keep dogs on a leash unless otherwise instructed, avoid stressful environments when needed, and make sure they get both physical activity and mental stimulation.

I am very attentive to routines and instructions. I follow specific feeding schedules, portion sizes, and any special rules given by the owner. I also have experience with dogs that pull on the leash, are shy with strangers, or need extra patience and reassurance. In challenging situations, I stay calm, observant, and focused on the animal’s well-being.

I also have experience caring for cats and small animals. With cats, I take care of feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and respecting their space and personality. I understand that some cats are affectionate while others prefer independence, and I always adapt my approach accordingly. I can also care for small animals by following their specific routines, feeding needs, and cleaning requirements.

My approach to pet care is gentle, patient, and respectful. Safety is a priority for me: I double-check doors, leashes, collars, and harnesses, never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations, and keep a close eye on their behavior and comfort.

I speak Italian and English fluently and I am currently learning German, which helps with basic communication 😄

I am an active and sporty person, and I truly enjoy spending time outdoors, playing and interacting with animals, especially energetic dogs.
