I used to "have" a dog and was very close to him. He died at age 5 from cancer (was a golden retriever) and lives on in my memories. Nowadays I am too nomadic to be responsibly a human caring full-time year round for a dog, or a cat. I sometimes care for my friend's two cats and often for my sister's dog, and I super enjoy it, playing with them, having the dog take me for long walks, having the "honor" or earning trust of the cat who lets only very few people pet her...My sister also helps an organisation that finds good homes for abandoned dogs, so I helped her with being an interim care-taker for many a puppy that transformed from a beaten-up ball of misery to a shining ball full of life, joy, and energy.

I am a writer, working at home, which makes me free and flexible with my schedule. I take dancing classes in the evenings, also flexibly.

I love to spend time with some lovely four-legged beings, especially if they are cuddly. It is my first winter in Berlin after 6 years of spending winters in a tropical Mexico, surrounded by birds, squirrels, dogs, and cats. In the grey Berlin, sharing time with non-human animals brings me joy.
