Cat sitting in Berlin (Wilmersdorf, Charlottenburg, Schöneberg area)
I moved to Berlin a few months ago with my husband and our furry friend, Muci. I have been living with cats for as long as I can remember. We adopted Muci, our very first cat as a couple about 10 years ago from a cat shelter. She became our trusted companion in our hectic lives living in various cities where our academic career has taken us to throughout the past few years. Currently I am a full time doctoral student working on my dissertation remotely. I decided to become a cat sitter in order to help others being in the same boat as we were, in need of a reliable and friendly person looking after their furry friends while travelling or being overwhelmed with other duties. I was cat sitting many of our neighbours' cats while living in the UK in the last three years, without any complaints ;) Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need help! I speak English (unfortunately, no German yet!).
I can promise a lot of love, care, food (unless your friend is on a diet), and playtime. I will also take care of the mess they leave behind (litter tray, bowls) and send regular updates and photos. I do not mind watering plants either.
Szilvia was very communicative and put me at ease while I was away! My cat loves her, though standoffish around many people. Szilvia was punctual, reliable, and my cat was nice and chill when I got back so I know she was well cared for.
Szilvia was very friendly and took good care of our two cats. We got daily updates of their playtime and could see that she gained their trust more and more each day, and even our very shy one was coming out to play. Communication was always easy and even some last minute requests were no problem. Would immediately hire again :)
